We started tonight’s episode off with a look at the final 8 talking about the votes and the group finds out that Ron and Wardog were the two castaways that flipped their vote to get Kelley out. Gavin and Rick are really upset with Wardog and confront him about turning on them and Kelley. After this conversation, Gavin tells Victoria and Ron about the conversation with Wardog and it seems like everyone Gavin has talked to is on board with getting Wardog out next.

Meanwhile, Ron is talking to Julie and tells her about the extra vote that Aurora gave to him. He explains that it is still Aurora’s vote, but she gave it to him to gain trust. He tells Julie this to do the same with her. Ron and Rick are talking to Wardog and they are talking about taking Aurora out next because she is an easy target. Ron is in a position where he can really align with anyone on the island and still have numbers.

It is time for tonight’s Reward Challenge! The castaways will jump off a platform, retrieve three rings and then try and get the rings onto pylons. They will be broken up into teams. Ron, Aurora, Gavin, and Victoria on Yellow. Wardog, Julie, Rick, and Lauren on Blue. Both teams are close the entire way. Yellow gets their first ring, Blue gets their first, Blue gets their second, and then Blue gets their third! Rick, Julie, Wardog, and Lauren all get to take a boat to another part of the island to feast on all sorts of goodies!

On the Edge of Extinction, Kelley and Joe are talking about how she got voted out with an idol in her pocket and how upset she is with herself. Meanwhile, back at camp, Ron, Gavin, Victoria, and Aurora are chatting about how Rick needs to go next. They all agree to vote for him, Ron in the meantime gives Aurora her advantage back. Moments later, Aurora and Ron start to argue about how much rice to cook for the four of them. They are both getting under each other’s skin.

Wardog, Lauren, Rick, and Julie are all covering each other with mud and then going to relax in the hot springs. The guys are showering and Julie and Lauren are talking about who should go. Lauren thinks that Rick should go first and then they can go after Wardog later, but Julie thinks that Wardog needs to go first. We then see them all sitting around a table eating and talking together.

It is time for the Immunity Challenge! The castaways will be racing through an obstacle with buoys, they will then use a key from one of the buoys to unlock puzzle pieces and the first one to get their puzzle put together will win immunity! Every one of the castaways makes it to their puzzles and the first one to finish their puzzle is Rick, which means he is safe at Tribal Council for the second week in a row.

Everyone is talking about getting Wardog out, but Ron isn’t thrilled about this idea because then that leaves Ron open to be voted out. Wardog is looking to get Aurora out and starts talking to everyone about getting her out. Everyone seems to be on board with getting her out now. Aurora is talking to Ron, she knows he is playing both sides and that he has been lying to her, but she seems to be feeling him out a bit.

It is time for Tribal Council! Lots of talk about threats in the game and how this game is all about perception. The castaways vote, the votes are tallied, and no one played an idol. The votes are:

  • Aurora
  • Wardog
  • Aurora
  • Wardog
  • Wardog
  • Wardog
  • Wardog

With five votes, that’s enough to send Wardog to the EOE!
