Also, the castaways still in the game continue to switch between targets as weaknesses become exposed. Who will go home tonight on Survivor season 38? Find out right here with our Survivor live recap!

We started tonight’s episode of Survivor season 38 off with a Reward Challenge! Tonight’s challenge, the castaways will be playing for PB&J sandwiches! The first tribe will get sandwiches, a jar of peanut butter, jelly, a loaf of bread and milk, the second tribe to finish will get a small plate of sandwiches to share. They will have to race through an obstacle course and get bolos along the way, they will have to then throw them up onto a plank at the end. Each castaway has to get one to stay on the plank at the end. Kama wins first, Manu wins second leaving Lesu empty-handed.

Kama is talking about trying to get rid of Joe, but Ron would rather see Joe stick around just because he is the one who is catching their food and helping them win challenges at this point. Meanwhile, on Manu, they are thinking that Wendy is a ticking timebomb, but Eric knows that the return players have to go. Most of the other castaways would rather go to merge with Wendy than Aubry and they are trying to come up with a strategy to get Aubry out. Victoria mentions going to Aubry and creating an alliance with her and Wendy to get the guys out while they can. Aubry is falling for it hook, line and sinker.

Over on Lesu, David is starting to get a little worried about his safety on the island and is looking for an island. Wardog, Lauren, and Kelley are talking about getting rid of David due to the fact that he is the weakest link. Kelley and Wardog go off to talk alone and Wardog tells Kelley that he thinks that getting rid of Lauren first is a better option for them.

Meanwhile, on the Edge of Extinction, Chris finds a box on the beach. Inside there is a note with a map and they figure out that they have to align the stars on the map to find where they are supposed to go to get their next clue. They all agree to get something to eat first, but Keith has a different plan. He went alone without the rest of them. They are able to catch up to him and Chris grabs what Keith was going for. It was three bamboo rods with a strong and a note that said “Practice” on it. At the other location, there is an advantage which Rick gets. It allows them to give an extra vote to anyone still in the game.

It is time for the first Immunity Challenge for the night! Manu and Kama take a big lead after Lesu can’t seem to get their puzzle pieces out of the water. Lesu gets one of their puzzle pieces unhooked and the other two tribes are still working on solving the puzzle. Lesu is able to get their second piece free and is now heading to the platform to solve their puzzle too! Kama solves it first and wins immunity, the second tribe to win immunity is Lesu! Manu is heading to tribal even after Lesu fell so far behind in the challenge.

Aubry thinks that the gameplan is to get rid of Wendy, but is trying to get Victoria to consider getting Eric out. They decide to talk to Wendy about who she would want to get out, but she can’t make a decision. Later, Aubry goes to make sure that her Idol is close by for her to use tonight if she needs to. She finds the advantage in her bag which gives her an extra vote! The only way that Aubry goes home is if everyone on her tribe votes for her.

It is time for the first Tribal of the night. The votes are tallied and they are as follows:

  • Aubry
  • Wendy
  • Aubry
  • Aubry

With an idol in her possession and an advantage, Aubry has been voted off the island! She comes to the sign where she chooses to head to the Edge of Extinction!

We start the second hour of Survivor off with another Reward Challenge! The first tribe to win will get coffee, tea, pastries, and cookies, the second tribe will get iced coffee and cookies, the third tribe will leave empty-handed. They will be jumping over tables, untying knots to get sandbags to throw at targets to drop flags. First two tribes to drop two flags will win. Kama wins first, Manu wins second and Lesu goes back to camp with nothing. Wardog was the big reason they didn’t win this challenge. He couldn’t hit the targets with the sandbags.

On Lesu, the tribemates are talking about getting rid of Wardog, but Lauren is also starting to drive everyone crazy with her not eating and always complaining about how hungry she is. On the Edge of Extinction, they get another basket of maps and Aubry seems lost when the others start to fold the map. Reem is the one that actually figured out that it is probably in the water, but Keith is the one that grabs it. Inside the box is a bunch of knots and he is told to give his biggest threat one of the knots. Rick and Chris can’t believe that Reem “gave” Keith the advantage. Reem is most upset with Chris because he was the one that actually said she gave it to him.

It is time for the second Immunity Challenge of the night! The castaways will have to climb a ladder, maneuver a bag through a bamboo cage. In the bag are puzzle pieces and once they get to the end, they will have to put the puzzle together. Only one tribe will win Immunity in this challenge, the two losing tribes will head to Tribal. Kama and Manu have a lead, but Lesu makes it to the puzzle and all three tribes are working hard for that immunity! Kama is the first tribe to solve the puzzle meaning Manu and Lesu will head to Tribal!

This tribal is going to be interesting. Manu thinks that they are in pretty good shape because the other tribe has two returning players and they are more of a threat. They talk about trying to bluff the other tribe telling them that they aren’t afraid to go to rocks. Everyone is okay with going to rocks except for Victoria, but she tells them she is okay with it also. On Lesu, they are talking about voting for Wendy. They also talk about the possibility of going to rocks. After Wardog walks down to the beach, he tells us that Lauren constantly talking about merge and food is getting to him and he isn’t sure he wants to go to rocks for her. The rest of them are talking about how Wardog isn’t contributing at all and realize he is looking for an idol while they are talking. They all go look too.

Kelley manages to find an idol while Wardog is standing there and grabs it when he turns his back. Lauren and Kelley both have idols at this point. Lauren has made it clear to Kelley that she will not go to rocks for Wardog. Both tribes talk about how they are going to stay united with their votes. Wendy seems to be in the middle and both Wendy tells David that he has a spot with them, there is whispering and David asks Wendy to talk off to the side. It is now time to vote!

No one uses an idol and the votes are:

  • Wendy
  • Lauren
  • Wendy
  • Lauren
  • Wendy
  • Lauren
  • Wendy
  • Lauren

We are tied, they will do a revote, Lauren and Wendy will not vote and the others will only vote for Lauren or Wendy. There are two side conversations going on before the revote with Wendy being left out of both of them. Here is the revote:

  • Wendy
  • Wendy
  • Wendy
  • Wendy

Wendy is the next person voted off the island. Wendy comes to her sign where she chooses to go to the Edge of Extiction. This seems to be a no-brainer decision.
