Luke Perry Suffers Massive Stroke Right After ‘90210’ Announcement!
Former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star, Luke Perry is in pretty bad shape, according to TMZ. The actor, currently starring on the CW hit “Riverdale,” was hospitalized yesterday after suffering a major stroke at his Sherman Oaks home. This comes on the heels of the original BH90210 cast announcing a revival with Perry in talks to return based on his current filming schedule. As of earlier this afternoon, rumors were flying that Perry, 52 had been placed in a coma but his reps deny this, saying he is “sedated.” His former co-star, Shannen Doherty, who played flame, Brenda Walsh on 90210, took to Instagram to share her sympathies: “My friend. Holding you tight and giving you my strength. You got this.” Doherty is in remission from breast cancer, as you may recall while Ian Ziering, who played Steve Sanders, also reached out: “No words can express what my heart feels hearing today’s shocking news. Let us all say a prayer for his speedy recovery.” Perry is father is to two children, Jack and Sophie, with ex-wife, Rachel. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his loved ones during this time and we will keep you updated as this story continues to evolve!
