Survivor season 37 spoilers ahead! If you don’t want to know what happened tonight on Survivor: David Vs Goliath do NOT read ahead!

We started tonight’s episode of Survivor with the David’s celebrating their successful Tribal Council and Angelina finding out which of her alliance members stabbed her in the back. She then went to Christain to let him know that the only reason they threw votes for her in there was to make it look like they were still working together.

The next morning, Davie and Nick are out looking for an idol. One was played, so another one is up for grabs. Nick finds something, but it’s not an idol, it’s an idol clue telling him that after all the others are asleep, he needs to sneak away from camp and go to the islands furthest point to find an idol.

It is time for the first reward challenge of the night! They are playing for a picnic with wraps and wine. The castaways have to walk across a rope and then get to a platform where they will throw poles at a ladder. The first team to get three ladder rungs thrown up there will win reward. The purple team takes an early lead, but the orange team manages to pull off the win in the end. Alec, Mike, Christian, Gabby, and Alison all win the Survivor picnic. Carl is the only castaway who has not won a reward challenge since the merge and he is not happy about it. He has his sights set on Alec.

Alec and Alison are really putting the charm on high with the Davids they are feasting with. After they are done eating, Alec looks inside a basket set by the table where the food was and they found letters from home. Back at the camp, Carl is talking to Angelina, Kara, Nick, and Davie about going after Alec. Kara runs back and tells Alec about Carl wanting to target him. Alec tells her that he will just have to win immunity to put the cherry on top then.

When the reward winners get back to camp, some of them end up really sick from eating too much. Alison and Alec were both throwing up and Christain was really tired which made Nick sneaking off to get his idol later that night a lot easier. Especially having Davie looking out and covering for him while he was gone.

It is time for the first immunity challenge of tonight! The castaways will have to balance on a narrow perch while holding a handle behind their head. If they fall off or let go of their bar loses. Jeff then tells them that if there is anyone willing to sit out of this challenge, they can feast on nachos and beer! Angelina, Nick and Carl all sit out and feast. Mike falls, then Davie, and after over an hour, Kara just steps off. She looked really solid up there. Alison then steps off leaving Gabby, Christian, and Alec the last ones standing. After two hours and 30 minutes, Gabby steps off after Alec got into her head. Three hours in, Christian and Alec are still on their perch.

Christian asks if he can tell a story to pass the time and after over five hours, Christian is still talking. Alec is starting to look pretty rough and even mentions that feeling like is he is going to pass out. Alec tells Christain that he is safe, Alec isn’t and Christian tells him that he may never have the opportunity to do this again (win a challenge) and starts get emotional. Alec steps off his perch moments later.

When they get back to camp, Carl is talking to Kara and some others about voting out Alec. Gabby walks into the conversation and is really upset that Carl would tell Kara, Alec’s ally, that they were voting out Alec. This puts Gabby and Christian in a tough spot with Carl because he is being super pushy. Alec is talking to Alison about trying to get Carl out. Christian and Gabby talk about it and it really does look like it could go either way during the first tribal council for the night.

It is time for the first Tribal Council of the night! There was a lot of talk about the three castaways that ate nachos instead of competing in the immunity challenge and how the tribal lines have been blurred. There was also a point made by Alec that he is an easy target and if they vote him out this week, then they don’t have any other easy targets to go after. Here is how the votes landed:

  • Alec
  • Carl
  • Alec
  • Alec
  • Alec
  • Alec
  • Alec

That’s six votes and that’s enough to become the fourth member of the Survivor 37 jury!

Part two of tonight’s episode of Survivor 37 started off with the Davids celebrating having the numbers in their favor now. Alison is worried that she might be the next physical threat that they target.

It is now time for the second reward challenge of the night! The castaways they will be divided into two teams of four, with one sitting out. They will be competing for fried chicken, potato salad and cheesecake! Kara, Carl, Davie, and Mike against Alison, Gabby, Angelina, and Nick. Christian was not picked and will not be competing for reward. This challenge has them climbing a huge ladder, jumping into the water, swimming over to a buoy and diving for others. They then have to swim to a platform with their buoys and take them apart. They have to use the balls from the buoys and shoot them into basketball nets. In the end, Davie, Mike, Kar, and Carl win the reward!

Carl couldn’t be happier that he has finally won a reward challenge. While on the boat, Carl gets pretty drunk and tell Kara and the others that he wants to get Alison out next. Carl is just sinking his own ship at this point with talking about his plan to get everyone to vote Alison out. Meanwhile, Gabby and Christian are talking about wanting to get Carl out because he is taking over their alliance. Later, Carl goes and tells Nick, Mike, Angelina, and Christian that the plan is to get Alison out, but Carl wants Christian to tell Gabby that the plan is to get Angelina out.

After this conversation and everyone agreed with Carl to vote for Alison, Christian goes to talk to Mike. He tells Mike that him, Gabby, Kara, and Alison are ready to get Carl out, but they need a fifth vote and that’s where Mike comes into play. The next morning, Christian tells Gabby that the rest of the Davids are wanted him to lie to her about the plan. Gabby is upset that they think she is that stupid but is happy that she is making the move to get Carl out.

Meanwhile, the castaways find that they are running out of rice. Angelina talks to the others about trying to negotiate with Jeff for more food. After Jeff explains the rules of the immunity challenge, Angelina asks if he would be open to negotiating for more food. Jeff tells her that he is open to hearing their offer. She tells him that they would be willing to give up the fishing gear, most of the cooking gear and some of the comfort chairs if they could get more rice. Jeff tells her that this was the best laid out presentation for a low-ball offer. He counters and tells them that if one of them would be willing to sit out of this immunity challenge, he will give them rationed out rice until the end of their time there. Angelina volunteers.

On to the challenge, the rest of the castaways will be going through an obstacle and when they get to the end they will have to use letter blocks to build the word “perspective.” They don’t know what the word is though, which has them all pretty even at the end. Alison came close, but Davie beat her by seconds. Davie is safe from elimination tonight and the tribe now has rice. Angelina thinks that the plan is to get Alison out and is feeling pretty good about the outcome of the challenge, but can the rest of the Davids pull off the blindside?

It is time for Tribal Council! It really comes down to Mike at this point because it sounds like Gabby, Christian, Alison, and Kara are all willing to get Carl out, they just need one more vote. Here are how the votes landed:

  • Alison
  • Alison
  • Carl
  • Carl
  • Alison
  • Alison
  • Carl
  • Carl
  • Carl

With five votes, Carl is the fifth member of the jury!
