AMC Fully Reinstates Chris Hardwick for ‘Talking Dead’
In June of this year, Chloe Dykstra, wrote a piece for Medium that outlined years of abuse from a man that she was once in a relationship with. Although, she never mentioned the man by name in her piece, this man was believed to be her ex-boyfriend, Chris Hardwick. Hardwick denied all the rumors and after an internal investigation, Hardwick has been reinstated as the Talking Dead host and host of Talking with Chris Hardwick as well.
Shortly after this piece was written and the rumors started to swirl, Hardwick was suspended from his position as the host of Talking Dead on AMC. AMC went as far as appointing Yvette Nicole Brown to do all Hardwick’s appearances at Comic-Con for the various panels he was supposed to be a part of. Brown will still host the Walking Dead preview party on August 5th, but Hardwick will return to host the Talking Dead August 12th.
AMC released a statement that read:
“Following a comprehensive assessment by AMC, working with Ivy Kagan Bierman of the firm Loeb & Loeb, who has considerable experience in this area, Chris Hardwick will return to AMC as the host of Talking Dead and Talking With Chris Hardwick. We take these matters very seriously and given the information available to us after a very careful review, including interviews with numerous individuals, we believe returning Chris to work is the appropriate step.”
There has not been a return date released for Talking With Chris Hardwick at this time. Let me know what you think about this in our forum right here!
