Married at First Sight Spoilers: Did the Couples Stay Married?
For anyone not familiar with the show Married at First Sight on Lifetime, the show is about six strangers who are picked by professional matchmakers. These six people form three couples who don’t know each other at all prior to walking down the aisle and saying “I do.”
The fifth season of Married at First Sight wrapped up last night and it’s always fun to see if the couples stay together or ask for a divorce. This season the couples were Danielle DeGroot & Cody Knapek, Sheila Downs & Nate Duhon and Ashley Petta & Anthony D’Amico.
The season started off kind of rough for Nate & Sheila, but the other two couples really seemed to hit it off quite nicely in the beginning. As the season continued we watched as the couples continued to learn things about each other and saw how they dealt with their differences.
Last season we had one couple call it quits within two weeks and then the other two announced their divorces recently. The most recent were Tom & Lilly who were my favorite couple, but they still remain close to each other. They are consistently posting pictures and videos together on social media and some think that they might actualy still be in a dating relationship. Nick & Sonia called it quits months prior to Tom & Lilly, but their divorces wasn’t so amicable. Nick is currently expecting twins with his new girlfriend, Heather Yerrid.
Back to last night, after going the first parts of their marriage with a camera crew following close by, the couples came to their final decisions last night. They had to choose whether they were going to stay together or get divorced. For the first time in Married at First Sight history, all three couples decided to stay together! I’ll keep you posted on any new information in the future!
